Huub Ragas was born in 1961 and lives in the Netherlands. He was educated at the Academie voor Beeldende Vorming in Tilburg during the period 1987-1992. He is a painter who likes to draw.
His works often show small houses or scenes of cities. Non existing and fictionall. In his art he often examines structure, rythm and colours of the urban environment. But often elements of nature, like fishes, birds or other animals are shown.
His style can differ from realistic, to surrealistic or poetic. Some of his works resemble Hundertwasser or Escher.
The paintings shown on this website originate from the period 2000 till now.
During the period his works were exhibit4ed on severall locations in Netherlands and abroad. His works were exhibited in the Hague, Tilburg, Baarle Hertog (Belgium), Italy and Japan.
Since 2007 his works are shown at the gallery of Carré d'artistes. Carré d'artistes has galleries in many citys in France and also one in Barcelona, in Londen and recently one was opened in Koln in Germany.
